Serve Central
As we discover our destiny, we realize God also gives us purpose and significance in our lives. He has given each of us the opportunity to serve others and make a real difference in our community. God didn't design ministry for just a few people. At Capital Christian Center, we believe that every member of our church is a Ministry Partner.
Serve Central has designed several tools to help guide you in discovering how your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences in life can be used by God to mold you for service.
There are many opportunities available to serve in our church on a one-time or consistent basis. The following is a list of our Interest Areas with a brief description of what opportunities may be available. When you find an area or two that you would like to get involved with, let us know by filling out our Volunteer Interest form. https://ccc.webconnex.com/servecentral
For more information, stop by Connect Central on a Sunday morning or call 856-5683 x224.

Winter Sanctuary
In Sacramento, cold and wet weather conditions threaten the lives of the approximately 1,200 homeless men, women and children sleeping outside in the county. Without winter shelter, people experiencing homelessness are at an even greater risk of injuries, illnesses and fatalities. Capital has committed to participating in the Winter Sanctuary project to provide temporary shelter during the winter months. Our volunteer opportunities for the Christmas week have been filled, but we will sponsoring an additional week later in the season. Check back for more updates!
Martin Luther King Celebration
There are many volunteers needed to make the MLK Celebration on Sunday, January 15th a success! We are in need of ushers, greeters, parking lot staff, and setup/teardown volunteers. We ask that volunteers arrive at 2:30pm for a brief volunteer meeting in the Activity Center and to be placed for the evening's event. Volunteers will serve throughout the event, and are asked to stay until approximately 8pm. To sign up for the MLK Celebration, click here.
